#LoveTheLast by Gillie and Marc is a worldwide art project, with the mission of bringing critically endangered animals to urban areas so that people everywhere can create a connection with them. Why? Because loving animals is the first step towards saving them.
Love The Last is a social movement driven by public art to raise awareness, funds, and support for some of the world’s most endangered species. Monumental artists, Gillie and Marc, want to create sculptures all around the world that tell the stories of these endangered species to drive positive change and ensure these animals don’t leave us forever.
With an estimated 54% of the world living in urban environments, it is easy to forget that we share our world with a wide variety of unique creatures with lives just as important as our own. It is also easy to forget that many of these animals are facing overwhelming habitat loss due to increasing human population, illegal hunting, and climate change.
At Notion, we support Gillie and Marc for there love of all animals and for having the determination to make a difference. Our concept at Notion is “If you do nothing, nothing changes”. Thank you, Gillie and Marc, for being world leaders and for using art to raise funds and support the world’s critically endangered species. We are proud to showcase and sell the stunning artwear jewellary and located in our Studio Room. These are two amazing sculptures from Gillie and Marc, Ruby Rabbit, and Diamond Dog. Both these sculptures are absolutely amazing and have immense detailing they are truly beautiful and because of this we at Notion want to share them with New Zealand so when we can we will showcase the Ruby Rabbit and Diamond Dog whenever we are out and about to help raise awareness for our worlds endangered species. At our cores, humans are social animals. In many ways, we need physical touch to form fulfilling relationships. When people feel connected to something, they genuinely care to help and get involved.
