This coming Sunday the 10th of March is our Notion Fashion Designer sale. It is located at the Edgar Centre from 10am – 4pm, look for the Notion flags and line up early, and enjoy!! Fashion is Fun! I AM HOPE
We are welcoming donations to I AM HOPE which is part of The Key to Life charity run by Mike King. We want to give back to mental health. Why mental health because it is such a huge problem in our country and we all must take responsible to help understand and turn this around. I myself have suffered from mental health illness when I was 19 years old and when I was 39 years old. When I was 19 my mental illness was triggered by the death of my Brother it had been brewing for some time and when I was 39 it was the redundancy at Cadburys in Dunedin. For the redundancy at Cadburys it is about closure and having the right to stand up and yell out that we were proud to be factory workers. We have the right to mentally heal. To help with the I AM HOPE work I have connected with two amazing young Ladies from Otago Girls High School, Alyssa Shelton and Tui Taiaroa-Smithies. What I love about these Ladies is that they are proactive and have loads of confidence to go out there and achieve goals. Full credit to Otago Girls High School for their amazing work and culture that they have produced inside the school. The future is bright and amazing. For this first event the Notion Fashion Designer Sale and yes there is much more to come these young Ladies have pulled together two amazing ideas. No spoilers here if you want to know you need to attend the sale one little clue is that it involves some gum boots!! Well of course we had to tie this in as it is for I AM HOPE #gumboot #gumbootfriday

A long time between Blogs – Sorry!!!
Yes it has been a while since I have last blogged, I am a little sorry but between full time work and planning the Designer Sale of the year it is a little full on!! Yes this woman works full time as well as running Notion Fashion and pulling together all of the charity work!!
